In 2006, wii started a trivia team.
The following year, wii stumbled into a naming convention. Wii haven’t stopped arguing about it since.
Since then, there has only been one WiiTrivia. Like any team or family, wii have gone through our struggles. There was the year wii decided to make WHOP. Yet another year, wii fractured into two camps – the Silver Snakes and Team Mongoose – yet wii came together to be kind of good at trivia. And wii will never forget the Great Blizzard of Oz.
Wii have also been known to provide an entertaining Trivia Focus interview (extra sharp cheddar, in the heat of the moment wii go ace to mouth, “what is colder than dry ice?” (Oksana), wiisan al-Gaib…AS WRITEN!)
Wii started out as a group of teenagers with a handful of desktop computers calling in answers to the World’s Largest Trivia Contest, hosted by 90fm in Stevens Point, WI, on a single landline. Our set-up has evolved and upgraded over the years, not much has changed in terms of maturity. Trivia 55: No Limit will be our 20th contest. Top 50, here wii come!
